This Animal Crossing release in 2008 has been a smash hit so far! It seems as though just about nothing could top this one! With the WiFi aspects of the Wii and the newly-released Nintendo Wii-Speak which allows you to actually talk with people in other towns that you visit, gameplay couldn't get any better.
New villagers, new special characters, and a whole new design for the town and for the houses created. Basically, Animal Crossing designers spent the past three years taking delicate time in making sure that AC got the makeover it was well overdue for. Not only do you have your usual town that has had its region-holidays restored (yay!, by the way), but also there is a city that you can take a bus to and visit! This city expands your gameplay by ten-fold with a new boutique opened by none other than the snotty Gracie, Dr. Shrunk, the shrink from the previous game has his own stand-up show to help teach you emotions, Redd's shop is in a dark alley, Katrina also has a store opened in the opposite alley, Shampoodle is setup, two new characters come to the city occassionally, the HRA has its own building and an auction house is setup as well.
There is so much to do in this version, you cannot miss out on this game. If you have a Wii, you need Animal Crossing: City Folk. There's too much in life one does not see before they die--don't let this game be one of them!
