Unlike the previous worldwide release in the series, Animal Crossing: Wild World posesses many gameplay enhancements. From the layout of the town--which now scrolls as you walk--and the split-screen by the Nintendo DS allowing you to see the sky rather than just the reflection of it in the lake, to the changes made in the buildings, and interaction with other neighbors, this game was definitely the best when it was released in 2005.
This game not only allows you to visit other towns, but instead of having to be in the same room at the same time with both memory cards at hand, this game allows for WiFi connection. Yes, that is correct, you may visit friends via WiFi. The only catch is that you cannot visit towns that do not share your language, typically. Translations were a hard thing to fit into a handheld. And also, due to region differences, holidays that are only celebrated in certain places were eliminated as well. Do not despair! Nintendo designers did not leave Animal Crossers without something to talk about--new events and unique holidays were created to fill the gap.
Don't miss out on this Nintendo DS sensation!
